Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and dedication to bettering South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers through an engagement together with the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric examinations.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% from the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
